Free "Add-on" domains:
You can have up to 3 more domain names (you must purchase domain name)
hosted on your account as an "Add-on" domain.
"Add-on" domains function just like your main domain name.
Each add-on will have it's own root directory where you will put your
pages, files and images. You must work with us in setting these up as we
will have to make some table changes on our side as well as the changes
you initiate through your control panel. This is an added feature that
most hosting companies do not offer FREE. But we do. Your webspace and
bandwidth is yours and we want to help you utilize it to the best of our
abilities. Of course, these additional domains will use a portion of
your webspace and bandwidth from your main account. The one main control
panel will manage all your domains hosted with this account.
Backups:
Ark Webs provides a weekly backup of your account.
This is for emergency restores only. We offer NO guarantee of any kind
with our backups but we have never had problems with restores. We advise
you to keep a personal backup of your necessary files. This is just a
good practice no matter where you host! So, please
keep your website backed up at all times.
Autoresponders:
Each of email account on our system allows you to set up an
autoresponder which is an automatic reply that is sent to anyone who
sends an email to a given address.
Email Aliasing:

Unlimited E-Mail Accounts:
You benefit from an unlimited number of POP E-Mail accounts, Unlimited
Auto Responders, and Unlimited E-mail Forwarding. Our email addresses
are very flexible. You can set them up as POP boxes which store mail,
email aliases which redirect mail to another box, or as autoresponders.

directories at the click of a button via our easy to use online control
panel. Simply choose the directory you would like to protect, then

Server Side Includes (SSI):
Our servers
support Server Side Includes (SSI), a method of calling code into a
page. SSI makes it possible for you to include a snippet of html code
onto a page or a group of pages. When you want to change the code, you
simply change it in one place, and then all the other pages update
automatically.

Ark Webs is
working with the dedicated hosting subsidiary of Everyones Internet, one
of America's few profitable ISPs. From it's beginning in December 1998,
Everyones Internet served the "Value Orientated" segment of the Internet
market. Not by offering a sub-standard product at a low price, but by
offering a top-quality, feature rich product at an incredible price. EV1
grew from 0 subscribers 12/1/1998 to approximately 4000 in May 1999. The
growth continued with EV1 surpassing 55,000 by the end of 1999 and by
surpassing 95,000 accounts with 157,000 unique users by December
31,2000. Our employee base has also grown from 2 in Jan. 1999 to over
200 in Jan. 2001. We operate our own network in Texas and maintain dual
POPs in the four major Texas cities with 8 upstream Internet connections
totaling well over 200 MBPS. In short, EV1 is not a lightweight.
Almost from the beginning, EV1 offered shared hosting on the Cobalt

incredible!)
Our support center runs 24/7 with live operator support. Our NOC is
manned 24/7, not just monitored 24/7. We have a live human being (if
techs are human) manning this center at all times. While many Internet
companies monitor their systems 24/7 through computers and pagers, we
have a live human being ready to respond immediately.
Dedicated Cobalt-trained support is always available. In addition, we
have also cross-trained a significant portion of our dial-up support
staff to support the Cobalt platform. What this means to you is that we
have additional support personnel standing by should you get in a jam
at, say, 2am on July 4th! (We do, however, close our support departments

All domains are welcome. We can host ANY domain name extension. Please
remember however, that the free domain name can only be a .com, .net,
.org, or .us.

You can manage your email mailing lists through the Majordomo Mailing
List Manager. Mailing lists are commonly used to circulate topic
discussions. A mailing list includes a set of list members. Whenever a
list member posts an email message to the mailing list email address,
that email message is distributed to all list members.
