Bill F. Campbell
Bill
F. Campbell, 73, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2008 at
Northside Hospital. A native of Newport, Tennessee, he was a son of
the late Bruce and Millie Lovel Campbell.
Mr. Campbell loved
his family and cared deeply about his grandchildren. He was a member
of Embreeville Church of Christ.
He retired from
Holston Defense.
In addition to his
parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Campbell.
Survivors include
his wife of 53 years, Shirley Potter Campbell; children, Debbie
Campbell Francis, David Campbell and wife, Pauli; grandchildren,
Tammy, Kimberly, Mark, Carla and Caleb; brother, Bruce Campbell, Jr.
and sisters, Jean Rubish and husband, Joe and Carol Williams.
The funeral service
for Mr. Campbell will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, August 15,
2008 from the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home with Mr. Eddie
McAllister officiating. Interment will follow at Washington County
Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 PM
Friday prior to the service.
