Ark Webs does not set strict transfer limits. This however is not unlimited transfer. This is done because a lot of our customers do not us a lot of bandwidth. Due to this, they are only using a small portion of their bandwidth per month. This is the case with a lot of websites we host, when we get sites that have more traffic we can allow them to have the bandwidth that they need per month if the other customers do not use their allotted bandwidth.

If a site's bandwidth becomes very resource intensive (10% of system resources, CPU load or 10% of the transfer allowed to that server is considered resource intensive) we reserve the right to pass along the extra cost associated with the extra bandwidth to the site owner. Normally you can get around 50,000 standard page views per GB of transfer. Real Audio / Video or a graphic filled website will consume more bandwidth than standard page views as each file that is called by a visitor consumes bandwidth.

When you log into your control panel, you will be able to see the Bandwidth usage for the current month. This helps us keep track the bandwidth being used by each customer.

This has not been a problem with us and if you do not know what bandwidth is, then you most likely will not have a problem with it. But if you do happen to need more bandwidth, we will to allow you all we can as long as it does not effect the other customers.
